Although I try hard not to take advantage of his helpful nature, even after the job was done he's still been available for questions & suggestions.   Earlier this year I contacted Bear mountain because I had concerns about the health of a large older tree next to my house. Bryan arrived, looked at my tree and... read more gave me a detailed explanation of the health of my tree. We determined together that the tree needed removal. He quoted me a fair price to remove it and to prune my other trees. Bryan and his crew did a great and professional job removing the diseased and hollowed out tree before I had a worse situation on my hands. Very happy with the job done!!

  We had a huge old willow tree in our front yard that was rotting through, and the last big windstorm knocked half of it down on a Friday night (luckily... read more not hitting anything!). We were concerned about the other half falling and requested an expedited tree removal. Bryan came out on Saturday morning to check on the half still standing, and cut it down to a safe height right then. We had been putting off a ton of other work that also needed to be done (4 dead tree removals, 2 large tree trimmings, and a couple of large bush removals), so Bryan and I walked through all of it and he was able to give me a really reasonable quote right away and schedule the work for that Monday. He and his team knocked out the work super quickly, even saving a few pieces for us. They were all really nice guys and the quality of the work they completed was impressive. He even had some suggestions for native, heartier trees to consider replacing with when we're ready.

They arrived on time and called ahead to let me know they were on the way. They go to work right away, and cleaned up when they were finished. Very reasonably priced and great value for high quality work. I can honestly highly recommended Bryan and his crew for tree work, especially in cases where skill, experience and professionalism are required due to trees being in difficult locations - close to house, roof, fence, etc...

  I'd like to share an amazing and generous encounter I had with Bryan of Bear Mountain Arborist!
We had become very concerned about a few of our beloved trees... read more on our property that were showing signs of ill-health. We had absolutely no intention of having them removed. Rather we wanted to have their conditions assessed and to preserve them! After a slew of phone calls to local arborists, it seemed their only real interest was in major pruning jobs or tree removal!
Fortunately one of my calls was to Bryan! He listened patiently to my description of the various symptoms. Despite a jam-packed schedule, he said he'd do his best to swing by and take a look. He managed to get by within a day or two. The visit and the information he provided were invaluable!
Yes, our trees can be saved!! He carefully examined each tree, shared his conclusions, and laid out a simple and clear course of action that we could begin ourselves right away. He also offered a couple things that he could do in the late fall or winter that would also benefit their long-term health.
Bryan was kind, informative, and amazingly generous with his time. This is a guy with integrity!
I would enthusiastically recommend him for any kind of tree work! He will certainly be my forever go-to tree guy!!

I was also impressed at their clean up - since I had said to myself a few times it'll take them a long time to clean up all the branches, sawdust, leaves, etc. prior to leaving.
